We are proud to offer our idealized rendition of the Booster Heat Sink also known as the "Booster Frame".
Our goal, when kicking off this project, was to create the definitive version of this Proton Pack component. It was important to us that the construction of this modern Booster Frame incorporated all the elements and small details of the original. To do this we chose a highbred approach that combined 3D printing with traditional model making. As a starting point, we measured the Booster Frame of the Super Hero Pack used in the 1984 production of Ghostbusters. These measurements were translated into a digital model that allowed us to 3D print an underlying structure or chassis. To replicate the look and textures of the original Booster Frame the printed chassis was hand detailed using period-correct Ticonderoga pencils, Masonite, and rubber floor mat.
This part was proudly designed and manufactured in the USA by talented individuals with years of experience and a love for Ghostbusters.
